Bleach episode 32 Stars and The Stray

This episode shows sixth division vice-captain Abarai Renji’s terrible past and his relation to Rukia. Ichigo Beats Renji And Then Renji Has a Flash Back When He Was “The Lowest of the low” Where Living There As a kid Was Terrible. Renji reminisces his past in Rukongai, training as a Shinigami, but most importantly the factors that lead to Renji and Rukia’s strange but somehow still close relationship. It was obvious that he cared for Rukia before, but the flashback sheds light on a more brother/sister relationship than I had suspected. It also shows how hard of a time they had growing up, and Rukia’s idealistic tendencies even in the face of extreme hardship.
