Naruto Shippuden 31: Those Who Inherit

Chiyo make final decision to bring back Gaara live with used her resurection jutsu, after she sees how much Naruto wanted to save Gaara. Chiyo has changed, Chiyo has stated previously that she no longer cared about this world and the Sand village. Chiyo sacrificed herself for Gaara. When Chiyo begins struggling do to low chakra, Naruto comes to give his own chakra to help Chiyo bring back Gaara. In process, Gaara’s sub-consiousness, he is all alone. But then he sees Naruto there to support him. After Chiyo finished, what looked like almost all of the Sand villages’s shinobi appear and celebrate as they see Gaara alive, she die. Everyone celebrates, leaving Naruto a little jealous, but happy at the same time. Naruto never knows that to bring back Gaara, Chiyo have to exchange her own live. Naruto then recalls what Chiyo had said to him before she died. About how Naruto had a special power to change people and were the future and that they could make the world a better place than the one she lived in. She had told Naruto to become the best Hokage ever. At Sunagakure, on Chiyo’s funeral, all those who Inherit present joined to give the last pray for her. Gaara, now recovered enough to stand with help from Naruto, standing next to each other. They all look at Chiyo, being held tightly by Sakura, and Gaara tells all to pray for her. Very touching and sad episode.
